Zoe's Big 13th Birthday

I'm not sure how we ended up with a teenager, nor am I ready for this next season at all, but I sure am glad we have a sweet one.
Zoe turned 13 on a Saturday and she wanted a delicious cinnamon roll for breakfast.
With it being close to Easter, she obliged in joining her siblings for a couple of egg hunts.
They may have all not wanted to take a picture with the Easter bunny, but they are kind to the mother to do so.
Free coffee and checking out the coffee truck...
and icecream!
Zoe was happy to get to join in on this little hunt.
Zoe and I enjoyed a lunch date at Publix....
and her treat of choice, Mingos boba and cookie.
That afternoon we had her gifts, including some sweet cards from her siblings.
Ezra made Zoe a boba mug in his art lessons.
Zoe got a few things from her Amazon wish list.

Keeping with Boba tea theme, Zoe wanted to have a birthday party at the cafe, which we did the following day when we are normally closed!
It was fun coming up with boba items, including a make it yourself boba bar.
We were all ready in time that we were even able to take some photos.
We sure do love our first born!
So thankful for my mom's help in set-up.
Party favors for bubble gum cups that look like boba!

Along with hanging out, eating, and making boba themed jewelry, I also led a couple of games.
One of the game involved drawing on your head.
It was a lot of laughs and fun!
Saran Wrap unravel ball game with trinkets for all!
Big cake full of boba!
Wishing for another great year.
So thankful that a lot of her good friends could make it out!
Present time...
So many thoughtful treasures!
Sweet friend from elementary school that she will be going to school with next year!
All the cousin love!
Love all the smiles and joy from this day!

That evening we, also, celebrated at my parents' house with my family.
More surprises!
And homemade boba cards!
One last treat for the special girl!
With 13 candles!
To my fun loving, thoughtful, stubborn (in all the good ways), determined, responsible, snuggly, smart, and thoughtful girl, you are so loved.  I have treasured our extra one on one time together this year with you being homeschooled.  You make this transition to teenage years (that seems pretty scary to me) so much better!  We love you dearly Zoe!
