Another End of a Season

 The time has come when our middle child, Shiloh, is saying good-bye to the elementary years.
Her school had a ceremony for the 5th to commemorate the occasion, and the kids walked in a couple at a time (there sure is a variety of height differences at this age).
 Since Shiloh was in choir they sang a song together.
They, then, got their awards.
Handed out by their sweet teachers.
Each child created a short message along with a google slide that was shared at the end.
Then one last time singing their school anthem, which Shiloh announced from the stage.
The face you give when you see your parents.
We are so proud of our girl!
Grandparents came to see the event!
And Aunt Lauren as well!
Shiloh had two teachers this year...
Sweet cousin picture!
Her BFF!
Happy about the refreshments!
Had to hit up the photo booth before we left.
Most of my photos have some kind of face...
but I still plead for normal smiles as well.

That afternoon they had a 5th grade pool party!
Complete with food and friends!
So thankful that these sweet girls got to be in school together!
My heart is so sad to see this season end, as it has been overall such a precious time.  Some challenges this year, though, make it a little easier to turn the page to the new season. Both of our girls will be in middle school next year!

Last IES Field Day

Both my littlest of littles had Field Day on the same day this year, so I was a helper with Ezra's class.  It was unseasonable cold and one of their first stations was to get a snow cone!
Since Zoe was out of school she came along to help with the kids as well, which was fun to have her there.
We did spy Shiloh having fun with her class.
And I snuck in a hug...
and got a picture with her bestie.
Lydia's class was behind us, and Ezra's classes got to go against her class in one event.
Intense game of Rock, Paper, Scissors.
Zoe enjoyed going up against the coach as well!
Basic relay love...
Hopping fun...
Ezra made up his own event.
While pretty determined in Tug-A-War, the girls seemed to just dominate most of the day.
The kids seemed to have a great time, and I was so thankful to be able to help out with Ezra's class on such a  beautiful fun day!

Zoe 7th Grade

This year has been a big change, school wise for Zoe, as she has been at a hybrid homeschool co-op.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Classes are pretty small.  They did have some different "spirit themed" days.
Some of the creations her science class made.  Zoe created edible finger paint.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Museum project Zoe did of Pompeii.  She created it with her 3D pin and worked really hard on it!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Medieval day at school!
Which included a feast and some interesting looking games...
While she may not have liked the idea of homeschooling, Zoe, did really well earning all "As".  I cherished having some extra one on one time with her (not so much all the pre-algebra work but so worth it).  While our homeschooling journey has come to an end (at least for now, and we shall see what the future will hold), I am thankful for this year!
