Shiloh's 9th Birthday

My sweet middle child turns 9 this year!  We kicked off the fun with a low key sleepover (our first), and she wanted to make cupcakes to celebrate.
Shiloh invited a couple of girls from school, and sister set off to stay at the cousin's house, while we had a fun pizza party.
There was a lot of crazy energy to be had that I don't think I have recovered from yet.
The next day we took a little walk even though it was "hot" at 70 degrees.

On Shiloh's birthday day, she requested an egg sandwich the way daddy likes to make it.
So many excited faces I couldn't chose just one.
In that parents still are not allowed in school, I was not able to follow our tradition of eating lunch together.  However, I did pull her out of school for a date to her choice location of Firehouse Subs.
After school her siblings were so excited for Shiloh to open up the gifts that they bought her.
She often has great animated responses to opening presents.
The birthday girl gets to choose the dinner menu that I make, but this year Shiloh really wanted Moes (since it is not something that she usually gets), and was so excited for such.
Then is was on to presents, including some cards and gifts that she got sent from her grandparents in Michigan.
One of the presents needed assistance in opening from her sister.
Her favorite item was to add to the slackline in the backyard.
A skater swing that they have been asking for!

During family dinner night, we celebrated Shiloh and my sister, Danielle, as they have birthdays on the same week.  Ezra made her a card...
which I think she liked!
More little gifts, and there was a lot of energy around, so only one clear picture out of the deal.
And of course, yummy cake for all!
Happiest of birthday to a couple of the best around!
Another year to mark the passing of time as Shiloh continues to grow into a beautiful young lady.  Shiloh works hard in the things that challenge her, continues to be the biggest giver I know (we can't go anywhere, practically, where she doesn't bring something to give), full of creativity and energy, wanting to shine her light for others.  I have no doubt that the Lord is going to use her in mighty out of the box ways in her future, and look forward to seeing it play out!
