Field Trips are Back!

It has been a good three years since the littles have had field trips!
What a blessing that Zoe actually got to go on two this year (previous trip was the Whitewater Center).  This time we were much closer to home at Saluda Shoals.
Their science class had raised fish and they released them into the water.
A beautiful day and Zoe got to be in a group with her besties, which thankfully are all very well behaved!
They, also, got to use nets to see what they could find in the pond..
and then looked at them through a microscope.
Another highlight was a seeing a volunteer's meteorite that landed in South America.
He even allowed the kids a chance to hold it and see how heavy it was.
It was shockingly heavy (and fun).
Thankful to be a chaperone for these precious kiddos.

Finally, getting to go on a field trip with Shiloh!
We headed to the state museum, where we started out with a plantarum show.
Then we had HOURS to explore the rest of the museum in our groups.
This little school house Shiloh loved being the teacher...
and returned to it on a couple of occasions.
Took my phone to get a selfie.
This little group kept me on my toes!
Thankful to get to spend the time with my girl and her classmates!
So glad field trips being back in the swing of things!
