December Round Up (Part 2)

All the fun continuing for December (part 1 here)...
 The 5th grade chorus had a special Christmas performance.
They had many practices that lead up to all their hard work!  I didn't realize that Shiloh had one of the main parts and a couple of solos and she did great!  Proud momma over here!
Their teacher is awesome and loved!

Zoe made some hand-dipped pretzels for her youth church party.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I had a couple of Elfs help me prep for our wok Christmas party.
Many boxes and laundry bags to get ready.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Somebody was ready for tacky Christmas sweater day at church.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
For our staff Christmas party I was very thankful to have some helpers!  Shiloh, always enjoys making things look amazing, and we tried out some themed charcuterie this year.
She did a great job!
Santa turned out to be pretty easy but very cute!
We enjoyed eating together!
I'm so thankful for this group of folks....we were missing a few for our party, but my heart was so full!
An outtake photo because it makes me smile!
We played some silly games that brought some laughter, and opened presents.
It was a great night!
We had spirit week at work, with different themes for each day, leading up to Christmas, and some of the staff were really into it and so fun!
So thankful for our team that rocked it during our busiest week of the year!
A yummy gift that our family enjoyed!
While working out, Ezra invented his own machine.
Christmas movie!
It's only been a few months since our last Urgent Care visit, so I suppose it was time again.  Zoe hurt her wrist/arm, so we made it in right before the holiday, on the 23rd!  Injury was on the growth plate, so thankfully not broken this time (she has already broken it twice in the past)!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Thankful to have some new toys from Christmas, as the weather has been pretty rough over the kid's winter break.
However, we did make it out to the park when we finally did have some sun!
Another day Ezra was so excited to try out his new RC car.

I finally realized that my headaches that had been happening for weeks were caused by my eyes and wondering if my vision was changing.  A visit to the ophthalmologist proved this was the case and not only did I need glasses but I needed transitional lenses.  Trying to pick out glasses on my own and was redirected to the children's glasses for my "petite" face.

New Years Eve celebration was pretty low key but we did enjoy some glow stick fun and games!
It made for all sorts of fun pictures.
We have all been enjoying the Rummikub game the kids got for Christmas and squeezed in another round.
It usually gets pretty intense towards the end.
Cheers with some sparkling grape juice to finishing out the year strong...
and hoping for more peace and health next year!
