The Fullest Holiday Weekend

When the holidays roll around things are extra busy with work and activities.  For some reason, though, a lot of the fun landed in the first weekend in December. So busier than I would have liked but much joy packed in! Zoe had saw that Lauren Daigle was coming to town, so the girls and I, along with my mom saw her in concert.
Zoe feeling the pictures!
We were seated in the top balcony.  This was a Christmas show, which we didn't fully understand to mean that the majority of the songs were Christmas songs and not Lauren's original work.  This was not my favorite (or Zoe's) and a little disappointing but she was a very talented artist.
Bathroom break!

The highlight was that towards the end Lauren did sing a couple of her famous songs over us.  In between songs, Shiloh surprised me and yelled out, "I love you Lauren" in which she replied, "I love you too!" Such a sweet moment, as Shiloh's projecting cheerleader voice really came in handy from so far away!

Shiloh was my model for a Christmas drink social post.

Watch out, if I'm busy taking photos I might just catch you!  Like this cute one of our GM that I made laugh in showing her how I accidently took a horrible selfie.

Saturday morning Shiloh's cheer team got together to march in our first Irmo Christmas parade.
Ezra joined Beach and I in watching it.
Complete with hot chocolate.  I will admit that I was not not looking forward to it due to the early time we needed to be there and the combo of cold temperatures.
However, it turned out to actually be a lot of fun!
Mayor carrying out coffee throughout the parade.
And we got to see our sweet girl in it as well
as some other fun sightings!

That evening Shiloh had her middle school formal and got ready with a few friends at their house!
Standing tall with little heels.
Their mom graciously sent me a single photo of Shiloh as well.
Since Ezra is also in middle school he attended with his friend, too!
So tough.

Parade number two for the weekend, this time on a Sunday afternoon in Lexington.  I snagged a pic while we walked to meet up with the group, as I wasn't able to stay for I had to get ready for our staff Christmas party.
With both full cheer teams!

Back at the cafe that evening for our Christmas party, our management put on the sweetest slide show of staff yearbook/superlatives!
Not the best photo of our GM, but the only one I managed to capture.
So thankful for this amazing team!
Then we swapped gifts with our secret Santa.
Bringing lot of smiles!
Last year Robbie had given Beach a mug of an inside joke that said, "Marco."  Beach had him this year and gave him a Polo mug. 😜

After cleaning up and heading out, I remembered this was the last day of the live nativity drive through at the church right next door. We have not missed it for many years. Zoe and Ezra were with me in the van to head home but we decided to drive by there first.
The timing was rough and we had a long wait but it is always such a joyous occasion that we enjoy!
Annnddd with that we headed home with what felt like the fullest weekend ever.  So thankful that it all worked out, that we had some help with transportation, that all were well, and we got to celebrate the joy of the season.
