Outer Banks (Part 5)

 More time with our toes in the sand and the best part is when we can have Josiah there to play with us as well!
Not to old to get buried!
"Don't mind me laddies."
That evening it was my parents turn to cook and they made a feast from the local fish market!
Then Beach and I took the kids to go to mini golf.
It was crazy busy and we had to wait awhile to get going but these had a great attitude.
We are all very novice players...
Sweet girls.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The next day we enjoyed some more beach time!
Someone grabbed my phone!
It looked like a huge storm was rolling in and scared away many of the beach goers.
That afternoon we had a coffee date with mom and sisters!
We did not escape the rain at that point but found a dry place to sit and chat.
That evening was date night out and, as there were not a ton of options, we all ended up at the same place.  However, when we were seated there was a small area that only had two tables, in which they placed the Prentiss and ourselves.  It gave us a good laugh and we felt silly to be so close on a date, so we joined up and made it a double date.
The Russells had gone a bit earlier and had finished their meal, but they took a photo with us before leaving.
The food was great, as was the company!
Then Beach and I took a short walk as it was no longer raining and headed back to the house.
Another special day!
Outerbanks (Part 3)
Field Trip Day....meaning we were out to explore some of the things in the Outer Banks.
The grounds at the Currituck Beach Lighthouse provided many free fun things to see!
It included a little store packed with treasures.
While not blood related, these bro-in-laws do look a lot alike.
Duck hunting was a big deal in this area in the past, so a lot of info on that!
Poppy get in on the action.
The property had other beautiful areas to look at.
The girls were not enjoying the heat as much but found some shade.
There was, also, the Currituck Maritime Museum there.
We briefly went in a store nearby where Ezra had a great idea!
We enjoyed some iced coffee or smoothies for a refreshing treat.
Brief awkward photos with Josiah.
Once back at the house, we hung out a bit and the girls enjoyed some more swim time.
While some amazing dinner cooked.
Selfies found on my phone...
and Zoe got grammy with a .5 photo.
Still moments together.
Happy boy!
After dinner it was off to take some family photos at the beach....
