April Birthdays and Joy in Between (part 2)

April was so full (see post one here).

 Continuing with the fun, celebrating our dad's BIG birthday - 70!

So loved!  He enjoyed his homemade themed cards.

However, he enjoyed the bubble machine!

Thankful to be a part of this milestone.

Kids love Firehouse and scored a great deal....but had to wait forever.  Zoe was excited to finally get the bag!

I was thankful to go on a field trip to the zoo with Ezra's class.

That night I helped at the dinner theatre at Shiloh's school. 

They did a great job and Shiloh had the role of Sven from Frozen.

Another student did a phenomenal job in incorporating her hair into her headband.

Kids took a picture of a beautiful sunset we saw on the way home.

It was, also, Beach's birthday (who graciously ran the grill at Ezra's baseball game).  So it wasn't until that evening when the kids were able to give him their cards.

We did get to celebrate him the next day, though, and he made some amazing burgers.

His dad was able to join us (sadly his mom was still in the hospital).

Shiloh and I attempted to make him a gluten free dessert.

We, also, got to celebrate Beach at my parent's house.

Josiah is so busy and prefers to be moving around!

Ezra had his date with is aunt and uncle and enjoyed being the only other kid with his cousin.

Pretty proud of these girls and their hard work this year.  They were both inducted into the National Honors Society.

The kids loved seeing friends and teachers there as well!

They have truly persevered though the many ups and downs!
