Mother’s Day was low key and really sweet overall. Beach made me a fantastic omelet, and I received several thoughtful cards from the kids.
After attending and serving at church, we grabbed lunch and headed to the pool for opening weekend. The weather was absolutely perfect for it.
That evening, we had dinner at my parents’ house and celebrated the moms who were able to come.
We topped off the day by meeting Danielle’s adorable new puppy, who was playful, sweet, and so much fun.

The next month, when Lauren was in town, we all celebrated our mother by enjoying a meal and some watercoloring painting.
I also gave her a pedicure that she showed off and seemed to like.
Such a sweet time. With Lauren leaving, and not sure if she will be back for a mother's day, it was extra sweet time to be together! We are so thankful for an amazing mother and to be mothers ourselves!
