Shiloh's Field Trip

One of my favorite things....getting to go on field trips with my littles!  This round was Shiloh's turn at Saluda Shoals Park.
This particular trip is all outdoors. The weather called for rain pretty much the entire time, but God was so gracious and it didn't rain at all while we were there and the weather was wonderful.
The kiddos got to scoop things out of the pond.  I was just praying that Shiloh would not end up in the pond (or any of the kids for that matter).
She doesn't mind getting dirty and greatly enjoyed this activity!  Then they got to look at what they found under the microscope.
A little turtle was found as well.
I so do enjoy this one-on-one time with my little, as it is hard to come by.  It is so fun, too, to see how they interact with their classmates!
There was some time to explore on our own and it worked out that we got to be with her cousin (and my sister) with our groups being together. This was extra sweet, as the girls are in different classes and don't get to do much together in school.  Love these little 1st graders!
So many fun things to find along the trail.
Then lunch and time on the playground before heading back to school.
Another special field trip memory to hold in our hearts!
