Beach's Birthday Turn

My Beach man has the last birthday to round out our spring birthday season.  We had a sweet time celebrating with family.  Ezra was excited to give him his birthday card first thing that morning.
Beach worked hard the week leading up to his birthday so that we could go out to brunch as a family.  Since our kids have little practice with eating out (when there are little it is just too stressful for us), I was a bit nervous, but glad that he wanted to give it a shot.
We headed to Cafe Strudel in Lexington, where it was busy (I'm guessing it was due to it being Good Friday and people may have had the day off) and many of the staff absent.
I brought the Easter cards from their grandparents to open while we waited.
By the time the food got there, we were pretty hungry and dug in (thus no further pictures) but they were kind to comp Beach's birthday burger (due to the really long wait).
After Beach squeezed in some work, we decorated Easter eggs as a family.
And later had dinner; Beach's request of steak, mashed potatoes (my first time making - and they turned out well) and an amazing vegan Caesar salad that he loves.
Some more sweet cards from the girls...
and random presents (the kids are very into finding things around the house to give).
While we don't often give each other birthday gifts, I found a great deal on shoes that Beach liked!
Then singing to our man!

Sunday at my family's house was Easter, but Beach got to choose his birthday meal.  Burgers, more burgers, always burgers!
And more cards...
and gifts...
With an amazing cake to top it off!
My hard working, giving, loving, supporting husband...we are so thankful for you and celebrate you in this special time!
