Ezra's 8

My sweet, not so little, boy turned 8 this year!
He requested a cinnamon roll from the cafe, which he enjoyed with some eggs for breakfast.
While it was a school day, Ezra requested a date to Chick-fil-A.  So I got him out of school and we went to the park for a picnic.
A beautiful day...
and we enjoyed playing around some together.  It was bittersweet for me, as I was reminded about the season when it was just the two of us for awhile, and that chapter is closed.
After his weekly art lessons after school, we head to Stars and Strikes (the kids first time) to play!
Being that it was a Tuesday, it was pretty quiet and we enjoyed being one of the few people there.
Then we headed home to eat his dinner of choice, subs. He stated he never had had one but approved of his choice for sure!
Beach's parents came over for dessert of ice cream and presents.
Confetti poppers!
He appreciated his gift from his sister.
Some fun from the grands...
And other treasures ...
We had a wonderful day full of love and the things that Ezra seems to enjoy the most!  So thankful for our speedy, excited, affectionate, sweet, athletic, strong boy for our family!
