Novembering

November brought in more transitions, with the close of baseball for Ezra....
Ezra really loved the sport and wants to continue with it in the future!
Thankful that my mom could come out!
Photo bombed.
I'm especially thankful that Beach was able to make it to his last game.  With him being sick most of the season, it was a treat to have him be able to be there!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Zoe continues to love areal yoga!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Shiloh can really get in the zone when she starts arting.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Looking so big after a fresh daddy/son haircut.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Beach had another daddy/daughter date with Shiloh to go antiquing, and topped it off with some ice cream.
Two of her favorite things!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Shiloh was able to be on student council again this year, and we enjoyed watching her installation ceremony.
Zoe, also, got to join us for the celebration afterwards.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
IKEA building furniture time.
Ezra loved helping us and he is a pretty good builder.
We continued another day with night stands for the girl's room, and Ezra loved being able to help with the hammering.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Zoe got to help her Poppy decorate a large tree outside their house.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I was able to volunteer one day with Shiloh's class on a field trip to Starbase.
Now that she is older I do my best not to embarrass her 😅.
They got to choose their own names and had name tags for them.  Introducing my daughter, Chucky Burger Jr.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Making mini instruments at the library!
Ezra enjoys building with the magna tiles.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Caught these cuties taking a selfie.
Fun birthday celebration.
Shiloh and her sweet BFF.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A friend had their beautiful grand opening of their store, Amazing Graze!
So much local goodness and talent!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Off their rockers" theme performance for the 3rd graders at Ezra's school.
It was a nursing home theme, and they did a fantastic joy.
Cute senior citizens.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I love when we catch amazing sunsets from our front door.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After flu hair is especially rough!!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Another challenging medical surgery.  Dad successful had his prostate removed because of the new found cancer.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Now that it gets dark so early, it is harder to go on our walks.  Squeezed one in before we lost all the sun, and Ezra joined us with his freebee.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
That magic hour glow when it feels amazing outside.
I love it when they are being sweet to each other.
And then they band together to make disgusted faces at me when they realize I am taking their picture.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Thankful for library programs being back full swing....will it float?e event.
Thankful for the focus on thanks this month (and being able to get to celebrate Thanksgiving - 2 weeks of having the flu in house is no joke) and hoping for a healthier next month!

Thanks and Flu

This year has us counting our thanks more than ever!  It is the antidote to crying all the time, after all. The hardships press down, more thanks are needed!
I got to celebrate Thanksgiving lunch at the littles school.
Sweet date with my little man!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The next day was Shiloh's turn!
And Zoe was able to join us!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Beach and I had a special chance to participate in a very elegant Friendsgiving.
While his food choices may be limited, Beach can have Turkey.  I'm excited to be with my hot hubby!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Not so glamorous....the kids got the flu (starting after us coming home from our Friendsgiving), so we were home for Thanksgiving day.
Shiloh prefers silly faces.
Much snuggles and watching Macy Day parade.
Daddy still made his infamous gluten free waffles that were amazing, even if it was just us!
And the Pilgrims.
And more parade and dog show.
Then nap time with the smallest sick one.
They were up for a little decorating, though.  Shiloh's happy place.
Ezra's turn for the star.
The girls were happy to have their own little tree.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The next day, when we thought we were finally completely in the clear, we celebrated with all our family.  (Zoe ended up getting sick the next morning that lasted the entire week, so we managed to squeeze in this day of family fun in between it all.)
The cousins!
The Grand Lovelands joined us as well.
Will tickle to get the smiles...
We read all our thanks together out loud after dinner...
....and guessing who wrote what...
So much to be thankful for!
Found the littles in the attic reading later that night - ha!
While not the Thanksgiving we planned, we were so glad that we could finally get together between quarantining!
