Bring it Summer! (June '22)

Summer official began this month as we said goodbye to the past school year, kicked off summer, enjoyed a home carnival, Ag & Art tour, and Father's Day.  Here are the bits in between....
Zoe is still enjoying taking pictures with my phone and using filters.

We celebrated William's birthday in belated fashion this year.
But all the love and sprinkles still included.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When you make a card for your friend and you have to give it to them when you first lay eyes on each other...
even if it is in a parking lot.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Shiloh wanted to whip up a surprise lunch for us, so a spaghetti picnic in the backyard was a hit.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Enjoyed a summer movie with the cousins!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Shiloh, also, wanted to create some art, a kitty food art, and used her own cat head for a backdrop.
She asked to take a picture of it on my phone....and this was what I later found.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When you have to drive two hours for a doctor's appointment, you have to add some fun in there.  Zoe and I had a delicious greek lunch.
And being only 15 minutes to the beach, had to stop by there as well!
I was fighting a bad cold and was pretty worn out....so it mostly involved resting for me, and a later walk with my girl.
She loved dancing in the wadepools.
She had so much joy!
Love her!
When you feel not to great, but your daughter wants to take a picture, you smile in order to set an example for when she may not feel up for the same, always can make something of it.
VBS week wrap up for the littlest two!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A surprise beautiful rainbow at my parent's house!
It was spectacular.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Birthday party at the lake!
Big 6!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Zoe got to go to a couple of her friend's pool party and had a blast. The parent was kind enough to send me some pictures of their fun!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This month I joined in Rev Wellness prayer walks.  It has been so refreshing to my soul to realign to what really matters.
A couple of times I have had a little companion join me.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Programs are finally back at the library this summer and during the first one they enjoyed creating some art.
Completed project....Ezra made a turtle.
Shiloh created a frog (who she later in the day gave away to a child that was having a hard time) and a bow pillow out of felt.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The kids all went to Camp JAM again this year.  Zoe volunteered with the preschoolers.  They had a final performance where my younger two were on the back row, Ezra barely peeking out.
Snuggles while Zoe played with filter selfies.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Library program....when your late and kids just want to sit in the back.
They got to touch some of the sea animals after the program.
We hit up the park afterward as the weather was decent!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Summer movie with the grands!
While it may not be my favorite activity, depending on the movie, it was nice to get to be with them.  Grampa was inspired to act like a Minion.
But I got one with all smiles, too!
Pool day at Grandmas!
A great way to end the month!
Daddy!
Another father's day had come around, and my event planner Shiloh was excited.  She created a powerpoint presentation the day before of all her ideas to celebrate. Thankful she was my kitchen assistant for breakfast, as it is another one of her giftings!  We were all excited to eat, so we forgot about pictures, but I did capture several of the gifts that they made!
A sweet card with more giggles.
Grilling supplies and spices for his new grill.
A card from Zoe.
We watched church online, as I was battling a cold.  Then Shiloh created a menu and served us lunch.
Ezra got in on the action as well.
For dessert, they all headed to Pelican's for a cool treat.
And Beach's dad was even able to come with them!
You are loved Beach and we are so thankful for you in our family!
It was tricky to get our schedules lined up for us all to get together to celebrate our dad, but thankful to make it work, even if it was on a very busy day.  We enjoyed dinner together and hanging out. We all love playing games and worked on not being to competitive with one another.👊😂
You are so loved and appreciated dad!
