Easter (and everybody stayed well!)

This year everyone managed to stay well for this holiday (this has not been the case in over a year with all the major holidays)!!!  We started off Good Friday with lunch and an egg hunt at the Grand Lovelands.
Always cutely decorated!
We discussed how even teens are not too old to hunt for eggs!
The basket hat didn't last long!
They were fast and full of smiles!
Zoe helping out her brother!
They had a great haul!
It was very thoughtful of the Lovelands!
(Not pictured, a powerful Good Friday church service that evening.)

The next morning we headed to Peep-A-Palooza at the park. Shiloh won a fun set of bunny ears.
These two enjoyed the egg hunt.

We had a short stop at another festival we hop in on.

Easter Sunday was so beautiful!  After church I snagged some pictures with the kids in the front yard.
The only one wearing heels this day, meant I was the tallest one again.
Silly photo!
Zoe wanted to take a photo of just me, so here I am being somewhat awkward.
Ezra came out as well, so snagged a picture with him, too.

That afternoon we all dyed some eggs together.
Beach encouraging an open mouth smile!
It didn't work 😉
Ready for egg salad this week!

We headed over to my parents for dinner.  It's been over a year since we managed a good family photo (where no one was sick).  So we took a few when we first got there.
Included some family photos with the grands!
I missed my dad, as he was busy hiding eggs and forgot to grab one later.
These two made the resurrection rolls this year.
Grammy is always in the kitchen.
Then it was time for the Easter Egg hunt (excitement levels are a little different at this age 😝).
Poppy gave out the instructions.
He is a good sport considering his allergies were still bothering him!
And they are off...
While Josiah is still to little to actually hunt the eggs...
he enjoyed playing with some.
They are always hid really well at my parents' house and we wonder if they have all been found.
Requires some adult assistance sometimes...
I got to play with Josiah, too.
Then it was off to check out their goods!
And some relaxing time!
So thankful that everyone was well and a beautiful day to be together!
