Time for the Season of Thanks (November)

This month I took the girls to their first concert.
If I'm being honest, I'm not a huge concert fan myself, however, this one was appealing to me.  I grew up on Toby Mac's music, listening to him on DC Talk, and enjoy his current work.
So I had a lot of fun with our Monday night girl's adventure.
It was a great (and worshipful) show, and being in a smaller venue made it even better.
Intermission and still smiling, although, past their bedtimes.
They observed that there were not many young ones around, and I explained that was probably because it was a Monday night, and a big exception that we would do something at that time as well.
Thankful for this night of fun among all the other things going on in life.

Zoe started a new treatment that entails her wearing hard lenses only while she sleeps, in an attempt to stabilize her eyes from getting worse.  She is so tough, as it is no easy or comfortable feat, and she takes them out with a mini plunger.

Veterans day at school and the kids had a drive through "thank you" for our local veterans.  Shiloh was excited that her grandfather now lives in town to come, and thrilled that she was able to dress up for the occasion.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Shiloh found a new friend one afternoon.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This years Shiloh and Ezra's Run Hard team with their new t-shirts!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Playdate park with friends and this is how they wanted to take a picture (including the random statue they found in the woods).
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Shiloh will use anything to decorate and created a type of Christmas tree at my parents.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My parents had us over for S'More night at their house.
They kids were pretty pumped about it.
They, also, got to decorate some of their tree.
The moment Shiloh had been waiting for!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A new career school is starting up and they created cards for a fundraiser.  They took this adorable picture in front of our building.
We even had some community workers there, too!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Colonial day at school and Shiloh was quick to come up with a costume with things from her room (she may have been the only one to do so).
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A beautiful day for a walk/scooter ride.
Ezra loves the hills that he can go down on.
Such a beautiful time of year...
with amazing leaves!
I played, too.
My grounding girl is barefoot anytime she can be!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Loveland Coffee staff Elf movie night was so fun and it is a joy to be with them!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We decided to keep the dress up fun going and had spirit week!
With a different theme each day!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My sweet oldest is curious about makeup, and I gave her a simple tutorial on how to apply some light coverage.
It's been a good eight years, but Beach's brother came down to visit again for Thanksgiving!  We enjoyed going out to eat with the whole family, and they had many bonding moments together!
It was so fun to have them around....
and the kids got many snuggles.
A great visit and he will be missed!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A Run Hard practice on a Saturday at the park for these littles to get them more used to the cold.  If I'm being honest, getting me used to running in the morning cold as well, as I will be Shiloh's running buddy.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We had fun sampling the seasonal coffee lager from our favorite brewery (that, also, has our coffee concentrate in them).
Zoe loves playing with my phone!
Christmas train at Grammy and Poppy's house!
I think we are ready for you December!
Hosting Thanksgiving with the Fam!
Zoe found an app get get us ready for Turkey Day!
In which she took pictures of us all.
We had my nices, sister, and brother-in-law over to watch the parade...
And have Beach's infamous waffles.
Cheers, glad to be able to be back in our home to host!
Bellies full and a beautiful day to enjoy the sun!
Even Aaron wanted to swing.
After they left,  Beach's parents and brother (who was in town visiting) came over.
More outdoor play with baseball and an imaginary "circus".
We made the traditional "Thankful rolls" where we hid in each one someones items they were thankful for.  When dinner comes around we guess who it belongs too.
Beach got a fried turkey and did the carving!
First time Beach has had Thanksgiving with his family in around 20 years.
Proof I was there, too.
Shiloh loves the leg...and to make odd faces any chance she can.
Per usual couch nap for Beach but extra special as Ezra got some uncle snuggles.
It was, indeed, such a special day to spend with family. I was so glad that Beach's favorite holiday was even better this year to get to see his family!
