Satisfying September

Hey there birthday month.  The past few years September has been the hardest month for a variety of reasons.  However, this year was a reprieve from the past few!
I was able to go on a lunch date with my man after we scouted out a few things downtown for work.

My amazing parents conduct camp Grammy and Poppy during the summer.  However, this year got pushed back a month, due to my Covid, and they celebrated over Labor day weekend.  They do all types of fun things with their cousins including making some edible slime!
Super sticky edible version!
They even enjoyed some time at the lake.
Ezra could play for hours in the lake side "sand box".
There was a Cousin Gazette written for the occasion.

While they were away, Beach worked really hard in finishing up Zoe's room in the basement and was able to surprise her.
While a smaller space without windows, she was thrilled to have it all to herself!
Basic IKEA furniture put together for her!

Tuesday mornings have been a blessing, as I get to walk with some ladies from church and then enjoy some solo time with my Lord.

Cross Country team!
The girls were able to final run!  Zoe has appreciated this group so much!
So proud of my girl for trying new things!

My birthday rolled around and I really wanted to an overnight with my family in the mountains (see post here).  This was a wish that we have had to postpone for some time now but the timing is finally right this year.  The day of my birthday I did some special things as well...including a great walk with my Lord to process hard things.
So thankful to even be able to move my body.
He showed me so many beautiful things along the way...
Including these flowers growing up out of the cracks in the sidewalk.  He brings beauty even out of broken things and situations.  A visual reminder of all that He has done in my life.
Had a great lunch with a special friend!
Grabbed the best drink!
Had some sweet cards given to me, including a coupon for hugs forever!
More amazing coupons!

I love spotting awesome nature things on walks!

Appreciating I get to work with such blessings.

Shiloh did fantastic on her cell model.  She was able to create a cake and used candy to label things, right up her ally!

Still going strong with my 3 time a week sauna workouts.
Always a major sweet session!

In going to tuck Shiloh in for the night I found her like this...
just getting some snail love!

Let's go Zo!  Happy to have a XC meet close to home!
A nice flat course!
So proud of our girl!
Finish strong!
A lot of the family able to come out and cheer her on for this one!
Full team!
They even had a couple cheerleaders out to cheer them on!

Zoe has a meet about once a week now...

Our favorite town event....the Okra Strut Parade!
Zoe had one of her friends join us!
We had fantastic weather and a great time!
We had to grab a drink at the kiosk as well of course!

Friends moved back in town for a fun pizza night!
It was beautiful and fun getting to connect over some amazing food...
and friends from college.
Such great hosts!
Such a blessing everyone was healthy this month and so many special memories!
