September Shenanigans

September started off with the littles still at home.  We finished up our visit with the Grands and had some of the "last things" before school started.
We had a little time between appointments to squeeze in a little fun!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Contact check - all good!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The littles love my parent's large puppy!
Who can get a bit intense, which calls for Grammy snuggles!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Happy Birthday to one of the best littles.
Such a sweet momma!
Homemade card sharing.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Someone wanted to snag a couple of sips of my coffee.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Danielle was awesome in setting up a craft area for the littles to make straps for their masks.
Mixed feelings about making such but thankful for the sister to suggest the idea and make it happen!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Occasionally I do get nap snuggles from my littlest of littles!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Birthday night celebration for half of us!
Lauren made the bomb cheese plate, and I scarfed all the other food before taking a picture!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We did save some of Beach's amazing cheesecake for my littles for the following night (and seconds for me of course).
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ezra has been counting down the days until he could start soccer and we were excited for him to participate in Soccer Shots!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ezra had a booboo that he was quite upset about and insisted that he see it in the camera.  It didn't take long before I could get him cracking that smile!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Beach has been working so so very hard lately.  We are thankful for the times we do get to get some love, and Ezra shares his work from school.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A long overdue hair appointment!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
On a day when the two youngest were at home for virtual learning, we took a walk for recess time and discovered some interesting things...
So good to get some fresh air and and enjoy the misty afternoon.
Imagining a fairy playground.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So many hours spent in our new brick and morter getting things ready!
The kids were excited to get a tour of the latest additions.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I have had many rough days physically this month (most of the month actually).  Greatful for some time in the sun to bring hope to this season.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Zoe and Hunter were all about airplane creations one afternoon, and even set up a store for me to shop their goods.
The demonstrated how the different types of plains would fly for me.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
On a particularly very rough day with a migraine, my sweet Shiloh made me some lunch in bed (and much snuggles from my Ezra).  So thankful that they know how to make some food items, and they can help their momma out!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Date night at our friend's amazing massage studio for a great time of relaxation!
So thankful to celebrate their second year anniversary....
where we had a couple's massage (our first ever).
Post glow!
And then waiting for the catered dinner.
Which was, also, amazing!  Cheers to so many blessings in this space!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Zoe got sent home from school one day, as she reported that she couldn't taste part of her lunch.  So we set out on an unwelcomed adventure to get her tested.  Finally settled and made it downtown to this parking garage, where she handled the test like a champ (it turned out to be negative).
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ezra set up a little palette to take a nap next to me....complete with "phone".
Silly boy!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Special afternoon latte, thanks to Beach being home one Saturday afternoon.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Superman offered to clean my windows.  How could I refuse?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We met with our friend, Ashley, owner of Magnolia Tyme, to dream up an amazing piece for our new space.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Then later that night, we showed our staff around the new space....
It was a special time to spend together, tasting some of our pastries to come and praying over the space.  Our heart is truly to make an impact in our community.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The cousin girls got together to put on a fashion show for our family.
Some where really into it!
They did include their brother, who reluctantly preformed turning his shirt around and sharing truck facts.
They did a great job and I found it adorable.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sometime on school days you go real hard and just need a nap with your momma before soccer practice.
Then he was refreshed to go all out to play some more!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When everything lines up just right (aka. your actually feeling decent, your daughter got her work done early, so she had a longer school break, and you have a birthday coupon that just needed to be used).
I will choose to remember this as a happy memory and not about how, at the end, I got a call reminding me about a zoom meeting I was supposed to be in that I completely forgot....so much for the rare spontaneous moment!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Shiloh was thrilled to be "big enough" to try on neighbor friend's Halloween costume from last year.  Too funny!
He was gracious in giving it to her, to her joy.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Needed to renew my passport....sad to send off another season of adventures in my life.  Not sure when/if there will be anymore, but here is to hoping!
I would say by the end of the month we had got used to the new rhythm of this school year and life, though it took us awhile.  We look forward to the changes and excitement that next month shall bring!
