February 2020

Basketball season is upon us, which mean little Ezra wants to play so bad like his sisters.  One more year, bud, but he does enjoy going to practices and playing on the sidelines.
He can get pretty intense with it!
I enjoy watching Shiloh learning a new skill.

Both of us wearing blue colored shirts calls for a picture!

Shiloh's turn for making dinner and she is always adding her own flair to things.

Fun with momma's phone.

This year the Governor's cup race was in February, on a pretty cold night for the kids mile run.

We probably did not come as prepared as we should have been for the weather, as we were a bit miserable without our jackets.
We were thankful to have our friend's join us, though!
Little man was all about holding my hand again as we ran down main street.  I proudly cheered him on, so he wouldn't stop and finish strong!
Girls were not feeling the picture afterwards!
But I prevailed.
Headed out to pizza afterward and the wise Kara brought cards to pass the time for the kids...I love the smiles and giggles.

It's game time!

When your buddy and you are twins!
Sweet little buddies!

Movie time complete with umbrella!

Anddd that's a wrap.  Zoe was included with her team picture, even through she wasn't able to play in the games because of her cast.
Shiloh and her team...
with her great coaches!
The grands came out to cheer her on!
As did daddy!

Cousin time and there is often some form of shows to be preformed.
Between our big Florida trip and Valentine's Day, February was pretty full, and I needed a bit for my body to catch up so much rest was involved as well!

Scavenger Love

There was a fun new activity planned for a group scavenger hunt to celebrate Valentine's Day.  This sounded like so much fun to me and we got our good friends to join us!
We didn't know exactly what to expect but we ended up getting clues for all around town with different point values.  We could choose what we wanted and had around four hours to rake up as much points as possible.
So we gave it our best shot, reenacting some things that they wanted us to do.
Including some crazy items like take a group photo in a single stall.
It was a beautiful day to be ridiculous.
Getting a large party to hold hands, check!
They did make for some super fun photos.
But full disclosure, I am ridiculously competitive.  Throw in a $1000 cash prize and I'm beyond all in.  However, the guys may or may not have felt as strongly about it, not willing to do some things, but good sports most of the time.
Many an unflattering picture, but none the mind, there is a contest to be won.
This was a funny one when others want to join in!
Nothing like some park yoga!
Plank it!
We did find some fun spots and treats along the way.
Donations to the food bank.
Apparently I was also too busy to notice the chocolate on my mouth.
It was a beautiful sunset drive to end the day as we headed to the meeting spot for Shealy's BBQ catered dinner and prize announcements.  We were pretty proud of all that we were able to get done!
Buutttt there was incredible stiff competition and we didn't even place.  So we consoled ourselves with the Photo Booth and many fun memories.
This was certainly a memorable date, #Bestdateever2020, and one that my body needed to calm down with after all the excitement.  I appreciate the support with our friends joining us and putting up with my crazy self!
