Magic Kingdom - Part 1 (Florida - Day 6)

We had so much fun, and I took a ridiculous amount of pictures at Disney World, that I had to break it up into a couple of posts.
After a protein packed breakfast at our AirB&B, and a good sleep from the previous day's Animal Kingdom, we headed out for our last big day on our trip, the big shebang of Disney World.  (Full disclosure...Ezra had a little cough and was not up for another full day, but we forced him ;-) We got a nice early start, so the ferry ride over was not crowded.
It was a beautiful morning with a slight crispness in the air.
Heading down Main Street with all the other excited crowd goers, and we opted for a busy picture of the moment we spotted Cinderella's castle.
Our little family of five.
Thankful for my main man, who is so willing for my full adventures.
After quickly learning the previous day that some of my kids wanted NOTHING to do with anything scary, I had to change up our itinerary.  No need waiting in long lines for things that they would hate.  Pirates of the Caribbean was first up, as there was no line first thing.
(Ezra still not a fan....as anything dark scared him.)
The line to Aladdin's Carpet ride was pretty short, and seeing as the kids were really into such rides, we got many smiles from this one as well.
Zoe was really into getting to ride by herself as much as she was able, enjoying that tween independence.
I enjoyed snuggles with my littlest little!
While the plan was not to actually visit any characters, as that did not seem to be a priority to the kids, in seeing Aldain and Jazmin actually ride the ride right before us, we headed to the short line to visit them afterward.
Ezra was to scared but the girls enjoyed chatting it up with them, which was especially nice as there was not anyone in line behind us.
Nothing like talking to a real life cartoon.
Sweet hugs good-bye.
When then used our first fast pass for the jungle cruise. (Can I just say how I love this fast past idea, it truly is nice to be able to plan on how to best spend your day and not worry about lines at times).
The animals were not real, which felt a bit silly after seeing live ones the day before.
But fun, nonetheless, to imagine.
The women "driving" our boat was a true comedian (I'm not sure if all the boats are like that), full of cheesy humor.  The joke she made when taken this picture was something about being eaten by lions, thus my cringing face.
Going over waterfalls with little splashes.
Then we were off to play in the Swiss Family Treehouse.  This was one of my few memories of Disney as a child.
As we were walking past the castle on the way to the next ride, we caught part of a show.
The magic had us stay and watch for awhile.
Then it was off to Tomorrow Land.
Up for some laughs, we waited for the Monsters Inc show.
Ready for the fun!  The show had some live jokes with the audience that had us all giggling.
Next it was off to cash in another fast pass with the toy story ride next door.
I thought surely Ezra would find more enjoyment in this, it is shooting lazers afterall.
But the darkness fear is strong and, even though he was shooting the entire time, still no love for the ride.
It is entertaining that they took pictures to show you afterwards.
Then we hopped on the people mover...
this ended up being one of Ezra's favorite things.  No darkness to worry about here.
With the sun warming things up, I decided to TRY to take the kids on the small Goofy roller coaster, knowing that Zoe would enjoy some of the exciting action.
This line was longer than posted, but we ate our lunch while waiting and made some goofy photos of our own.
So the two littest REALLY did not like the ride and were beyond scared....fortunatiunitly it was over quickly.  If I could go back in time, I would not have chosen to go on this ride, but it confirmed that even though they were all big enough, they were not emotionally there in enjoying the scary rides (which I'm not a huge fan of anyway).
So then we went back to our slower pace of Dumbo.  They have an awesome playground that you can use while you wait in line. Unfortunately, they would have much rather stay there longer and we ended up waiting extra time since one of the rides broke down right before we got on.
The adults like to take such opportunities to take photos.
Then we headed for a closer look at Cinderella's castle.
Such a beautiful mosaic inside!
My forever two little princess!
So much more fun to come (Second half of the day here)...
