Face Painting, Coffee House, Tornado Full of Halloween

For Halloween celebration it began with another great day in Kindergarten.
I signed up to face paint for their fall festival. Which really just means rapid painting as fast and somewhat cute as possible.
Luckily five and six year olds are easy to please (and adorable).

Loved seeing my firefighter have so much fun!
Then I was told I needed to check out Shiloh's classroom.
Her teacher did an awesome job turning her classroom into a cafe perfect for reading!
There was silly prize fun all day.
I got to enjoy some snuggles with my littles.
Then for dinner we dressed up for a great deal on booritos.

It was a somewhat enjoyable/scary dinner.  As there was a tornado warning while we ordered our food.  Then the storm came through which lead to some pouty kids with thoughts that we would not be able to go Trick-or-treating.

However, within the hour, the storm had passed.  (Street lighting makes for some creepy like pictures.)

We loved, yet again, spending time with our neighbors and the kids favorite, checking out their loot.

Octoberness

October recap.....
We love having t-ball with friends!
I think their favorite part is the snacks at the end, though!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Date with daddy to create a Scarecrow!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In-between appointments with this little nugget and a brief break meant a spontaneous snack.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Another occasion when just out with little man, a special coffee was in order.  I so do love that I can order decaf drinks with little sugar at the kiosk, perfect!
One happy little camper.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
First field trip of the school year was to a science camp across town.
Experiments were done, including making a cloud.
It's fun seeing Zoe being silly with her friends!
Thankful for this cutie!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
There is often fun times at Poppy and Grammy's house for dinner once or twice or week.
Always more fun with cousins!
T-ball game continuing to go strong!
This time with the grands coming to watch!
While we have not done many events at the roastery this year, this was one that we wanted to make an exception!
Our good friends at Magnolia Thyme did a pumpkin succulent event again.
So many little beauties to choose from!
We had a fun full house!
Such a blessed and treasured time with amazing results!
When it is warm outside the Lovelands will play!
Touch-a-truck event was another warm one!
We hopped on the train ride first before there were long lines.
One happy boy!
It is so fun for them to get their hands on so many things!
My little cooking assistant takes advantages of the perks.
Another Monday, another game.
Ezra enjoyed playing first base this round.
Getting older sure has some perks of interesting things!
Fun times with grape cheeks!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Woodley's Garden Center had a fun event that involved a scavenger hunt for the kids.
The rain did not keep us away (although it did keep us from heading to the mountains that day as planed).
Then it was off to my parent's house for some Gamecocks play and chili...
and snuggles of course.
Little one snuck a picture of me!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When Ezra realized that we were not able to go to the mountains but his cousins still did...he was not a happy camper, and probably the maddest I have ever seen him.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Happiest of birthday sweet little Lidy!

Present time!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Another Monday night, another t-ball game.
Go team!
Another night for his Grands to show support!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Shiloh's grade had a fun little performance one night.
Shiloh (or Blossom, as I liked to call her that night due to choice of outfit) also shared some group art work.
Then we stayed for a bit of Literacy night making winter art.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Reading snuggles outside...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Zoe is really into massages and sharing her intensity with others.
Aunt Lauren is not as big of a fan of the tough love...
but it make for lots of giggles!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Shiloh was insistent in getting a kitty head for her Halloween costume...
and I know it will be a fun prop for many an occasion.
Along with all that fun we were ready for our Grand Fall visit, field trip to the pumpkin
patch, and Halloween to come as well!
