Hoops of February (and other events)

Through her PE class, Zoe earned some basketball tickets to a USC game.  So we had a mother-daughter date.
She was excited that her friend and family were able to go as well.
It was their first time really seeing a game of this nature, and watching the amazing lady Gamecocks was a blast!

Family birthday season has begun, and between Covid and traveling, it was hard to find a time to get together.  However, the kids did finally get to enjoy Adalyn's birthday outside around the pond.
It included s'mores and a canoe ride.
And later that night a combined birthday with Aunt Lauren.

When your tween gets your phone, you find adorable pictures on it....
and she is not done performing!

A rare for me, girls night out!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sweet little MA's birthday!
Alllll the chocolate....
Shiloh's gift card...
And dinner cookout.
Shiloh got her fill with so much puppy loving!
I can't tell you the last time this has happened, but when momma needed a nap both Zoe and Ezra insisted on napping with me.  It reminded me of the old days when they were little.  They both out slept me, though!
Shiloh loves to create, whether with art or food.  She wanted me to take a picture of her newest creation.
Basketball for al the littles continued through the month and finished off the season.  They, always, start with an exciting introduction!
The girls team has been very confusing in who there coach will be, who will be on their team, etc.  At one game, Zoe ended up having to switch half way through the game to the other team.  This meant the sisters even ended up guarding each other at one point!
It was sweet that they had so much great family support over the season.
While we didn't buy any photos...I still thought they did a great job with them (just missing one of our children).
A beyond hard weekend for so many reasons.  This was one, coming home from the game to find that we had a water leak in the yard.  Our normal plumber was out of town, this left us desperate, found a new one, who did more damage and left us without water for a few days.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Getting a break from such on a walk and found a field of beautiful weeds.
Apparently it made Ezra want to jump.
They scootered along for quite awhile for us to check out the new bridge.
We were all happy to find it was done!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Shiloh set up a scenery to film a scene involving "proper fractions" and recruited her brother for such.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I spent a Friday night at Urgent Care, always a blast!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Finally an appointment that did not lead to hard results (there have been many hard appointments lately).  Shiloh had her check up at the cardiologist.
Then it was a costume change and she was headed to school!  It was hat day!  She borrowed her Poppy's hat, that included some black hair, which she got a kick out of!
Simple Valentines of '22
 In that we had just got back from out of town, Valentines was low key this year.  However, Shiloh did still decorate a table for her siblings and I got them a little stuffie.
Had to make our frozen yogurt heart tradition, which is adorable, but not super functional to eat quickly before school. (Ezra clearly had not fixed his hair yet.)
Shiloh was all ready for the day (but Ezra had to stay home, as he was still waiting on his latest Covid test).
The Loveland Grands came by after school for some treasures for the littles that was a hit.
We had breakfast for dinner that night...
and a dessert plate arranged by Shiloh!
Ezra worked really hard on his card for his daddy!
That night, Beach and I worked on getting on AirBnB ready, as we were re-opening it the following day.  I know really romantic, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do (this is often for us)!
It was a sweet and and simple day!
