Vegas - Downtown (Day 4)

Our last full day in Vegas and we had another package of fun to unwrap!
First up was an open air bus tour (part of the GoCity Pass), that gave us different views and relaxing perspective of the city.
The blue skies and the wind and sun on our face was a blast.
With and without wind 😂
We got off in downtown Las Vegas and headed to the Plaza hotel.
We took a fascinating walking tour (GoCity Pass) where we learned all about the history and revitalization of the area.
It included the infamous Fremont street...
As well as inside the Nugget Hotel.  We checked out their pool that had a water slide and shark tank in the middle of it!
Largest golden nugget, found by some kids in their backyard.
There is so much nostalgia in the area that is mixed in with the modern.
We did a little more walking and the tour ended at a container park that was an amazing concept.
We decided to eat at one of the small establishments, which ended up being one of the best meals. Lobster grilled cheese please.
Once relieved from the food, we check out the sourdings a bit more and dreamed together.
After hitting up a local brewery, we did a little cardio to make it back to the openair bus before it took off again.  We enjoyed the views and tour on the way back to our hotel to rest a bit and get ready for dinner.
All refreshed and ready for more fun.
Lauren found this treasure of a restaurant for our fancy meal.
They were giving complimentary champagne toast to the former chef, which we drunk out of bowls (we were all pretty confused on this one).
Then we headed to the nearby wax museum (part of the GoCity Pass), Madame Tussauds, and enjoyed playing.
There was hardly anyone else there, which made it even more fun to have the place to ourselves.
Let the chips fall where they may!
We then watched the exploding volcano from across the street and took in the beautiful lights.
Can't be in pretend Vence and not get some gelato.
We grabbed a LIFT and headed back downtown to where we had tickets to see a mentalist show, Totally Mental (GoCity Pass).  We briefly walked on Fremont Street, which was so full of energy, that just a block was enough to get the experience.
The show ended up being a lot of fun (and family friendly).
Lauren got to fulfill a childhood dream and was chosen to go on stage.
The host, who had been on shows like America's Got Talent, was truly a nice guy and entertaining!
We then headed back to our hotel for a wrap on another awesome day!
