July Fun

The left over randomness from this month!  (We had a great time for the 4th of July, overnight at the beach and Camp Grand.)
We finally allowed the girls to bunk their beds (pic before guard)...the same bunk beds that Beach had as a child and they were all super excited about it.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
While staying with the Grands, the girls had their hair french braided (a skill that their momma doesn't possess).
After quite a long time we needed to take them out and Shiloh begged for a pictures beforehand.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I miss being able to spend more time outside (thanks blazing hot days); the heat and my body are not fans lately....
but one day we managed a bit of a walk before the heat/humidity got to us all.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ezra is a momma's boy through and through....and I love it!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Our belated Hughes' girls father's day celebration, we attempted another Fireflies game, per Dad's request.
He LOVES baseball and the huge storm clouds didn't keep us away, as it appeared to do for many of the fans.
We all had a great time and enjoyed our "party bus" back to our car, joking the night away!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sweet little Zoe is getting older and enjoying exploring more of a grownup Bible.  Beach captured this precious little moment.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Friend play date with huge smiles...
and some crazy dress up fun!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My kids always look forward with great anticipation, Cow Appreciation Day!  I was woken up by the middle little fully dressed, on all fours, mooing into my room.
They begged to do all three meals that day and since they were ready, I conceded.  However, between  breakfast and lunch we made it to the library program.
Loved this singer and her message.  With a CD in hand, we are now rocking out in the car.
Thankful to see friends there!
Our one picture with the cow, as I was caught off guard, and our kids are fast with the hugs!
We had an awesome Grammy with us for lunch (sorry for the angle Mom).
While we may only have fast food a couple of times a year, this is a special day indeed!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sometime I have creators in the kitchen that like to come up with fun breakfast items...
Usually involving big smiles all around.
I'm not sure what was up with Ezra's bread and raisins, though!

Another fun Tuesday at the library where the girls got to volunteer and be princess in the act.
They kids got their reading medals, which they were pretty excited about.
 However, they were not thrilled when I attempted to take their picture where it was more bright out (out takes).
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I finally was able to do a cooking lesson with them again.  This time we covered all the spices and herbs.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Again with the library fun...Hawaiian theme!

Part of the library reader's rewards was tickets the the Blowfish baseball game.  I was a bit confused about the date, and we actually went a week early, but that was not an issue at all!
I think the heavy threat of rain kept many people away but we ended up with great seats.
  All the littles got to run in the field after Blowie, which was a nice break in the middle for them.
  Iceies are always a hit!
  Zoe got to play musical chairs in-between one inning and won!  She was pretty excited to do it in front of everyone. I tried to enjoy it while holding a fussy crying 4-year-old who was upset he could not join along.

  A boy even gave them their own baseballs!

 One last run around the bases before heading home after the game!

Zoe is still going strong in gymnastics.  She LOVES it and is constantly doing tricks all the time.
 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My little boy of mine was pretty thrilled when daddy gave him his old glove.
 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Packed library time with friends!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Daddy is a good sport, modeling the "jewelry" the girls made.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Nap time with my love...I know we are very near the end of this phase.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
He is loving taking pictures lately.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Cute little boys...
Say cheese!
While there were some really difficult parts of the month, I'm thankful for the good times we had as well!  Feeling the end of summer coming up soon!
