August Memories '18 (Part 2)

There was so much fun in August to be had that I had to split it into two post (Post one here).
THE ZOO...I have such good intentions when I get a membership thinking that I am going to take them more often as we all really love it!
However, with summer drawing to a close, we still had not made it yet and I was determined to go.  So to waterfall junction, suits on and ready!
We were thankful that friends could join us!
With the summer heat, the only way to deal needs to involve water!
Snack break!
With so many little areas to explore, I think my kids could easily stay all day!
They always like getting an additional little snack by foraging in the garden.  Zoe has been really into the Stevia leaves.
Shiloh wanted a picture with the scarecrow she decorated.
And one last shot before we headed out!

Reading wrap up party at the library!
Complete with many characters.
They did not want a picture with the Clemson Tiger Though!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Water play was so fun, we thought we would do it again another day!
Despite the water playground....the kids also wanted to play in the small creek!  Let's hope the water wasn't to dirty!
Ezra couldn't get enough of the slides though!
Especially with his Buddy!
Zoe enjoyed spending the most time on the ropes attempting different types of tricks!
While I didn't get a picture of our whole gang....I did manage one with the kids....nailed it with being right in the sun!
That's a little better!
Last week before school starts and we are going to do the things we didn't get to!  We all loved going to the moves to see Paddington 2.
Living the little life!
Lauren brought the cousins and, of course, we both ended up with littles in a seat with us!
I had no idea what movie this was advertising, but the littles wanted to take a picture!
And it was hard to get them away from the game area, although, I don't think they caught on to the fact that you were supposed to put in money.
Our little crew!
And one picture with Aunt Lauren!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Family time at Grammy's house often involves plays put on by the littles!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Mommy and Daughter Date Night with my Girl!  She really wanted to cash in her coupon to Texas Roadhouse.
I felt like I was with someone from a foreign country (we do not go out to restaurants very often) and she had so many questions about everything!  She now knows what "rolls" are!
While not my favorite place, I did enjoy my time with this one!
Zoe loves to read, so we checked out Second Charles next and played around a bit before picking out some books.
When I tired on this mask, she insisted that I looked "pretty scary"!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ezra started taking soccer, a much anticipated activity for him!  He even had a little buddy on the team!
Even though it started raining in practice....it didn't derail him!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I've had a couple of really rough weeks...with one day of having to get a lot done and barely able to make it out of bed....I whipped up a Rocket Fuel Latte and drank in this beautiful baby to remind myself of the love out there!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Delivering meals for baby season!  I mean!!!  Look at that precious face and such an awesome proud momma!!!  Beautiful!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Captain Underpants at his finest!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
For real, the one morning we had cooler temps....I read on the back porch and just balled, so thankful that fall was almost here and feeling the Father's love!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I tried to make my detox bath a little more enjoyable....am I the only one who just does not love them?  Perhaps if my tub was a bit more fancy?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Surprise Friend!  Happy Birthday! And sad to say we didn't have any pictures together.....so one is in order!  Included was a child that I have no idea who she is...but cute!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I haven't taken the littles to Publix in forever!  They had a few deals that it was hard to resist.  They found a way of all getting in the cart a little more interesting.  Side note....I did not find myself leaving with Publix's slogan in my head!  It will be awhile before I attempt this again!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A surprise find waiting for us from our neighbor = one happy little boy!
Whew, that's it for fitting in all the memories of summer...can we have fall for real now???
