May and the Celebration it Brings

While there were quite a bit of hardships in May (in our country and in my heart), there were still many great things to celebrate!  Including one of my bestie's Birthday!
So thankful for this women and how God has placed our lives together!

On to another amazing lady, my momma's birthday!  Zoe loves her oh so dearly, and gave her the peacock souvenir feathers from her recent trip.
Of corse, her other grands lover her so much as well, and gave her their own treasures.
And always cards!
Danielle was on it again in creating a dessert masterpiece!
Love my momma!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
God graced us with another month of amazing weather!  Obviously we spent as much time as we could outside.
More wild blackberry picking!
I was so proud that all the kids learned how to ride bikes without training wheels this month.  They conquered fears and rocked it!
When that popsicle is so good you just have to pause to fully enjoy it!
I even took Ezra outside, in attempts to wake him from his rare nap.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A way to get out of folding your laundry = fall asleep on it!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I was so happy to get a delayed birthday date with my man!  We may have been one of the only ones there!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We did continue with our appointments at our chiropractor, and Ezra was excited to see one of his classmates there.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Another special birthday celebration with Uncle William this round!
With many a handmade card, of course!
Shiloh thought he would really like some rainbow wolf ears.  William was a good sport.
And a roll of TP ('tis the season).
Chocolate cake and sprinkles galore....that will do!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Zoe's game face from her recent competition...
and prized result.
She worked out a deal with me that she could "trade" it in to her momma for a toy...
We were both pleased with the results.

Since we had an abundance of firewood and sticks that needed to be burned, Beach was happy to make a fire.
Kids preferred stadium seating.
But they were ecstatic about making s'mores!
Perfecting their toasting marshmallow craft.
Big smiles all around!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
One of the absolute favorite traditions in our home is our Friday popcorn and movie night. While this may not always be the case, we enjoy the bonding time when we are home!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Zoe surprised us when we were out doing yard work, with a tea creation tasting....which was rather good!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
One needs to be a little creative these days, in being able to get out of the house for some fun.
So one night, we picked up tacos and brought some produce to Irmo park.
A dinner picnic to change things up a bit.
There is not any playground equipment but the littles enjoyed exploring some nature things around the park.
They found many tiny little frogs!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Like so many, I was very excited to get my hair done after quite a long time in needing such!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Pepper tongue.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Little kid designed tea party!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Shiloh started a weekly Bible Club. Because of the times, it is just our family that can be involved but she doesn't seem to mind.
There are stories, crafts, scripture, even a survey at the end.  This little one is full of ideas, and  I am pretty sure she could go on for quite awhile with endless activites if there was no limits set.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Shiloh and Ezra, also, set up a car museum on day to organize and display all his vehicles.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Another day, the kids created a swap with their cousins, in which they made things that they could trade.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sweet reading time with Grammy...
Until puppy Pepper decided that she wanted to join in...
Mom just loves her so!
But Piper has no boundaries...none.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The kids wanted to do something for Beach and my anniversary, so they made breakfast for us that morning!
We were able to take a break from work and grab lunch together...
trying out Momma Rabbits for the first time, which did not disappoint.
15 years with this hunk!  Man I wish we could escape somewhere, but thankful that I have him by my side through all of this crazy season!
