April Sun and Fun

April continued with the celebrations, including Zoe's birthday, Easter, Spring Break, and Beach's birthday.
It the midst of a busy weekend celebrating Zoe's birthday, we, also, participated in the Irmo Strong Run/ playdate at the park.
I will admit they were not that excited about the idea, but we did go and run for a bit.
Ezra was always in the lead....so I didn't get a chance to take a photo of him.
This was mostly what the girls looked like 😝 - Beach had the hard job of cheering them on.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Cafe still has fun events going on, including a night of learning to build a charcuterie platter with Abundant Graze.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Nice weather = get me outside!  We enjoyed some walks.
Ezra was excited to help fill the mulch bed.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Shiloh is often creating art!
Or fun food/drink items!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
An unusual time of just having Shiloh home, meant we went out for a Boba tea date.
She had been talking about Boba tea since having it on our 10-year-old trip, and was thrilled to find a local place with it.
Shiloh prefers more pictures of this nature.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Lauren and William had sweet belated birthday gifts for Ezra and Zoe.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Zoe is enjoying taking photos with my phone, and we are often told to stop what we are doing and smile.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Soccer nights in full swing...
While Shiloh does not enjoy just watching, she finds other ways to use her time and create.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
While it may not be as regular of a thing....we are thankful when we get to have family movie night with popcorn and snuggles!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Zoe continues to enjoy her trapeze tricks and now combines them with her photography skills!
On one to another busy month of May....
Beach's Birthday Extravaganza
For Beach's birthday I attempted to line up some special things, including a couples massage and lunch with burgers.  He had Lil Duck for the first time and enjoyed it as much as I have in the past.
Seeing that it was on a soccer night, we relaxed in the beautiful weather watching Ezra and Zoe play.
Mexican for dinner with Beach's parents!
And cheesecake at home for dessert.
The homemade cards are always the best!
From Ezra...
Then that weekend we had a party for Beach, with a prom theme (any decade).
Beach enjoyed his old roommates coming, including one flying in from Texas.
I was glad to see him smile so much!
This wouldn't have happened without this girl right here!  Lauren planned it all and was my emotional stability.  Family party planning is not my thing, mainly it stresses me out and gives me anxiety.  However, for my fun loving friend, she is all about it!
Photo bombed and loving it!
We cleaned up well (and I managed to not fall the whole night in these ridiculous shoes).
The traditional prom prose with my forever prom date.
We reenacted this pose from our prom picture about 25 years ago!
Who has changed the most?
It was so fun seeing the outfits that walked through the door.
(If you steal my phone to take a selfie....I will use it.)
Dancing and games with great sports!
With prom poses to go with it!
Beach kept dancing and didn't come down to take a couples picture, so I just took one.  I'm not one for lots of dancing attention.
Crowing my birthday king!
Hey Shawty.....I'm glad you enjoyed your party!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The next day our family clean up crew got to work!
The kids got to keep the prize balloon garland for awhile!

Finally, we celebrated with my family with burgers, dessert, and gifts!
Cheesecake is his favorite!
You are loved my amazing man of mine!
