Pera Vedra (Florida - Stop 1)

I planned a fun trip to Florida for us to visit family and Disney World.  The Lord was truly in all details (more about that later) and pushed us to make it happen.  I picked up the kids a little early from school, stopped by the kiosk, and we were on the way!
It is always exciting to see some novel things along the way.
Audio books on the Narnia series kept the kids content all the way, but we did take a pit stop to check out the amazing Georgia welcome center.
It was a fun quick surprise to break up the trip a bit.
The kids had no idea who Forest Gump was but posed with a picture with me like the good sports that they are!
Then we made it to our destination of the night, and had a great greeting that warmed my heart so much I had to pull out my phone.
We came to visit Beach's Uncle Cliff and Aunt Marie!
They gave us a tour of their beautiful home and had little treats for the kiddos!
They were surprised and excited...
Special treat Sundays for a special occasion.
Getting all the snuggles before bed.
When little Ezra needed me after he was already tucked into bed, Marie jumped up, asking to read him a story.
I would say they both didn't mind!
The next morning, after we hugged Marie and she headed off to work, we all hopped on the golf cart for a ride.
Lots of smiles on our short trip to breakfast.
And they kept coming.....Zoe wafting up the yummy smells.
The kiddos were so excited to get to know Cliff better!  He reminded them so much of their grandpa (Cliff's brother) that they would often forgot and call him grandpa.
On the way back we stopped at the park for a couple of hoops and a little play.
Then we grabbed our suites and headed to their clubhouse to visit the beach and pool.
It was an amazingly beautiful day where we seemed to have the beach all to ourselves.
I couldn't help but laugh when the wind would pick up, causing the sand to hit against bare skin and erupting so many squeals from the girls.
The beach had so many amazing shells!
They couldn't help but get in the water some.
Beach was determined to find a shark tooth.
Washing off shells in the tide pool.
Boys were all successful!
I love love love the beach and could have been there all day, the allure of the pool is strong for the littles, though.
One last group selfie, complete with wind effect!
Then it was off to the pool.
It was perfect for parents, as most of it was shallow water.
But the littles still enjoyed using some of the life vests for fun, too.
Could not be a more perfect of a visit, the sad part was that we had to leave.
Our hearts were so beyond full from our first stop but we were excited to continue with the fun!
