Shiloh's 12 year celebration!

Our sweet Shiloh hit 12 this year!
Her grandparents surprised her with bringing a cake and present the night before when they came to watch them.
It was very thoughtful (sneaking some frosting was grandpas' idea).

The day of her birth, she got her requested bagel sandwich made by Beach...
and appreciated the decorations in honor of her day!
I took her out of school for a special lunch date.  Her meal of choice was a Publix sub.  We did not realize it ahead, but the one closest to her school does not have tables, so we enjoyed it in the car.
She, also, picked out a dessert (which she shared but was still too big for us to eat).
That night my parents watched our kids, as Beach and I had an event to attend.  They had a grand time and we got to continue the celebrations the next day.

Instead of a party, Shiloh wanted another "Yes Day" to celebrate!  Basically that meant we would do things that I would not normally say yes to (pre-approved).  This started out with a bagel sandwich (again).
As well as some presents.
She had been wanting her own pocket knife.
We hit up the Loveland kiosk before the girls and I headed out for the day.
Clearance shopping steals (and Zoe enjoyed being a window model).
Lunch at Chick-fil-A....
always a pleasure.
Shiloh's favorite: a Five Below shopping spree.  She loves getting a bunch of candy, as it allows her a large supply of things that she can give away that she knows others would like!
We actually ran into her amazing friend (who we were already planning on meeting up with afterward).  A fun surprise!  (Despite their height difference, they are only a couple of months apart.)
Then it was off to her special treat and what a treat it was!
This crazy concoction was an experience for sure.
Messy and sticky....
and the girls did not even finish it all with sharing with her sister.  (Shiloh saved the lollypop for her brother for later.)
Then both Shiloh and her friend were performing in her school's talent show with a fun magic act.
It for 6-12th grade, and a first and brave experience for them!
Line dancing while they waited for the judges results....
They ended up winning 3rd place and I was pretty proud of them!
Beach and Ezra had joined us for the show and then we went out for pizza.
Birthday girl wanted a meat lovers!
When your daughter asked you to make silly faces....
and then just zooms in close to your face instead...
I had some movie passes, so we topped the day off with a viewing of Ordinary Angels.
It was a very full day and one that I hope made our 12-year-old feel very special.
Shiloh Ann Loveland, I am so proud of how you have grown and matured this past year.  You have faced many challenges head on.  Your giving heart continues to shine for everyone!  I am thankful that your relationship with your siblings has grown, as well as mellowing a bit towards your parents ;-)  I have no doubt the Lord has big plans for you, and  I am so privileged to be your momma!
