While technically school was not done yet, it still felt soooo close and we enjoyed some summer celebrations.
We braved the heat (and crowds - which I was surprised to see since it was easily in the mid 90s) for the libraries reading kick off.
Thankfully we found some shade to watch the event, even if it was really close.
The kids enjoyed the games the most, though.

The next day was a lot cooler with a pool party! Fun for the adults and kids as well!

It was really such a great time, relaxing and making new friends and connections!
It feels like a collective exhale as we, hopefully, jump into a bit of a slower pace this summer!
