My birthday this year was on a Saturday, and being Cross Country season, Zoe had a met that morning. Fortunately, it is the one that is close to our house (none of the others are).
It ended up being a beautiful morning, unlike last year where it was raining.
It was a flat course so the runners all liked it as well.

With the meet being so close, the Grands came out to cheer her on as well!

Once back at home, Shiloh made me a yummy brunch!
I got some sweet snuggles....
And some gifts.
I love being outside, so I choose a hike in the forest for a family activity.
Ezra found a seat.
The boys, also, found some very large pinecones.

That evening we went out to dinner with some friends.
We ate at al fresco (my favorite) with perfect weather at Private Property. The lighting was weird for photos for me but glad to have the memories!

The next day we celebrated with my extended family.
As much as it is hard to believe my kids are getting older, it is just as hard to realize I am 46. Thankful for a low key weekend with great weather to be outside and to get to spend it with those I love!
