Ezra 6

Ezra's birthday came shortly after they had closed off things due to COVID.  So he birthday looked a little different than anticipated, but his easy going personality didn't seem to mind flexing at all.  The girls were eager to give him their presents first thing that morning.
I do love how they seem to enjoy giving as much as receiving.
The birthday individual always gets the biggest pancake, this one was the biggest yet (platter size)!
Ezra was pretty thrilled about it, although, I don't think he was able to eat it all.
However, he did save some room for a latte.
Train them up to appreciate the good things in life.
Then it was on to some gifts, including an awesome card from the grands!
Perfect card for Ezra that contained a race car game!
There were also presents from Michigan...
matching ones for him and Beach (who also had an upcoming birthday).  Determined game faces to get ready to open...
And they were both well pleased by the result...matching nerf guns!
Ezra is a very joyful present opener...
He had his eye on this after seeing it at Aldi!
Major squart gun action.
Beach was pretty stoked about his early birthday present (which they had a blast playing together later in the day).
We never watch TV in the middle of the day, so it was extra special to watch a movie during lunch for Ezra.
Sweet neighbor friend dropped by a gift.
Then, when we went to my parents house that night for dinner, we discovered a surprise. They had gotten a new puppy!
A cute bundle of energy!
Little Ezra was adoranorned with cards and some presents.
Excited to get into them!

In case you missed Addy's outfit fix, I took an additional picture...the solution to not having the new puppy bite her dress.
I would say that she is one beloved new pet.
Fun with filters.
Happy birthday to my forever baby boy!
My tender hearted, handsome, loving, peace making son...how you are so loved and treasured.  I have enjoyed seeing how much you have truly grown through all your new experiences this past year.  Yet your heart remains golden, and you are always up for some snuggles in between all your adventures with cars and outdoor play.  You are such a blessing to us all!

Shiloh 8

This year we weren't doing parties but just family celebrations for birthdays.  Shiloh kicked off birthday season in our house, where she got her breakfast of choice, blueberry pancakes.
She wanted to open one present before breakfast, though, and she was happy to find Olaf.
Then to eat the biggest pancake ever complete with her own latte.
Daddy's so good to rock out the best breakfasts!
Next, it was on to the rest of her gifts, where she was delighted to find many Frozen 2 items that she had requested.
Shiloh had been really wanting to redo the things on "her side of the room", so she was thrilled to find items to help her with this goal.
Trying out her new Frozen weighed blanket.

Shiloh had not been feeling well, overall (despite her appearance in the pictures), and so we had a pretty chill day (having to postpone celebrating with the family).  My mom came over that night, though, to give her one of her presents.
Which included art supplies!
We still had a healthy muffin for her...
as you have to have candles to blow out on your birthday!
Also, as a side note, Daddy got ticklck attacked, and Zoe captured in pictures.
Ended the day with some fruit pops and a movie!

When Shiloh was all better, the next weekend, we had a family date of her choice to Edventure.
It had been a long time since we had been, so all the kids enjoyed checking out the different areas.
Although, some had their favorites!
My future!
They were celebrating Dr. Suess day and had some fun activities going on, including a magic show that Zoe...
and Ezra got to assist with tricks.
Afterwards, the littles wanted to hit up Jason's deli, as their ice-cream is a huge appeal for them!
I would say we had a fun family date!

Birthday lunch at school with my Shiloh!  She was so excited to bring them all cupcakes.

While delayed, we were able to celebrate with my family with some special gifts.
It kept with her theme, which she was thrilled about.
We, also, celebrated Danielle, as they have birthdays on the same week!
Pampering gifts!
And a special treat time for sure!
To my big brown eyed amazing little eight-year-old Shiloh....you have rocked our world since entering it, and I have no doubt you will continue to do big things in your life!  You have such a HUGE loving heart and a boldness to let it shine.  I am so thankful to get to be a part of your life, as your mother!  I love you so!
