Zoe 10

My sweet eldest was hitting double digits and was devastated leading up to her birthday that she wouldn't be in school.  However, I was determined to make it a good day, and thankfully had a lot of help (as my body was having a major down day).
My mom got her a new shirt, and daddy went to work later so he could whip up her requested breakfast!
Then it was gift time, including from her grandparents in Michigan.
She was trilled to find some money in a purse.
Then on to some special gifts from us...
I love her excitement.
Siblings always give the best cards.
She got a special Loveland Coffee drink for her birthday and we watched a movie!
Then a huge surprise....some of her classsmates had a drive by celebration for her!  She was shocked and very touched (so was her momma)!
I used a chalk project as a ploy to get her outside for the surprise.
Grammy came for the fun celebration.  She was a good sport in helping with the project.
Sweet girl with her own Kambucia that her grammy brought her.
That night we tried something novel and picked up some kid pizza kits from Uno's.
So they got to make their own dinner, after some instructions from daddy.
It was a fun activity!
Then we finished our movie with our pizza dinner.
Zoe requested Italian ice for her birthday treat....so we made a candle work with it!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Then that weekend we had a celebration at my parent's house, social distance style outside, so everyone felt comfortable.
Picnic dinner with amazing weather.
More gifts from the family.
This girl still loves some snuggle items!
Treasures from the cousins.
And some more cash for the win.
Cousins often make multiple cards and artwork.
Dessert request: homemade ice cream sandwiches!
So yummy!
Uncle William got into some fishing action.
And showed off some of his handy work.
Some fun in the hammocks.
And love for the best Grammy around!
Zoe, also, wanted a picture with the newest member of the family (and glad she did, as Pipper was quick to grow from this little size).
I am so very thankful for all the people that took time out of their day to pour out love on my sweet Zoe.  We had to postpone her mother/daughter birthday trip to the following month but that gave us something to look forward in continuing to celebrate!
Marching in 2020
March was an unusual month, while we celebrated Shiloh and Ezra's birthday, there was a lot of unexpected for our would.  Thankfully Beach and I got a couple of quick dates in beforehand.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I, also, got a lunch date with Shiloh for her student of the week time.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As part of the Irmo chamber, we went to the opening ceremony of an exciting new business just down the road!
The had a delicious spread!
My view was fabulous.
Then we spent quite some time playing video games, reminiscing from back in the day, as well as enjoying some more modern games.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I have some littles that enjoy playing with my phone from time to time...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
While school may have been closed for St. Patrick's day, my kids still enjoyed getting dressed up!
In finding this "stage" in the parking lot when we went to the chiropractor, it proved just the spot to show off their outfits (to an empty parking lot).
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The girls had just signed up for Run Hard again.  We were supposed to help them train from home, so I took Zoe out for a paced run.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My health took a decline, not helped by the stress I'm sure, and we all attempted to adjust to homeschooling.
Sometimes we did fun yoga warm-ups....ok maybe one time we did that.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Another night, for the Run Hard workout we headed to the track and had a family workout and relay race.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Lots of coloring these days....
and coffee!
Beach enjoyed playing with new creations.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Thankfully my mom was able to come a couple of times a week to help me with the whole new schooling at home gig.
Dealing with three different curriculums and having some heath flairs made it extra difficult.
But we pressed on all the same, including some fun experiments...

GoNoodle...
and just plan creativity.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A symbol of the times.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sweet hammock snuggles while enjoying the amazing weather we had all month, a true blessing these days.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Shiloh is always coming up with fun things, like this fairy house.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Zoe said, "Mom make the yuckiest face you can!" Then she put her editing skills to work. She found it so funny that I had to include it here.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Getting ready for Zoe's birthday was hard for this tired sick mommy.  Thankfully my party planner in the house was on it....wrapping all the gifts and decorating....Shiloh was in her happy place.
Much less pictures than a normal month as life seemed like a lot less in many ways!
