Christmas '15 style

What a special Christmas indeed!  Everyone felt well and we were able to go at a nice slow pace enjoying one another!
We did get a few things for our littles this year and thankfully they are so happy with whatever they get.  I love the excitement and contentment that comes along with having a 5, 3 and 1 year-old.
They opened their stockings before breakfast, wonderful dollar store finds that Beach and I were able to buy together!
Surprise!  Although we did not really give gifts this year, Beach had said that he wanted his stocking. Yes, the one that could fit our children in it from when he was a child.  I led him to believe that he wasn't getting one (although never actually said such), and he ended up throwing it behind the tree the night before when we were getting ready.  Thankfully you can find some really amazing treats at Aldi (for goodness knows I didn't have time to go anywhere else - seriously best chocolate ever!) and put a  big smile on his face!
We made breakfast together, which was enjoyable include some eggs, bacon and a healthy apple cake!
When it was time to open presents, Zoe really wanted to go first.....that is she wanted us to open the presents that she had bought for us with her own money at the school store.  It was priceless when that was what she was thrilled about the most.
All enjoyed her gifts.... Zoe couldn't help but tell me as soon as she got in the car the day day she had bought them (then told me to please forget).  Christmas Eve Beach told me he was so excited to open his money clip from Zoe.
She was pretty happy to get some new panties herself!
Mr. Clean had us slow down and throw away the wrapping after each present.  It was kind of nice and seemed to enable us to enjoy it more.
Shiloh was pretty excited to give out her gifts as well!
Ezra was content after opening one gift of trains...and enjoying some "coffee".

That night we had dinner and gifts at my parents house.
Uncle Aaron had his nice camera ready for the action.
How precious is this interaction between cousins that he captured!
Perhaps explaining the art of present opening?
The littles got to open their gifts first....a wise decision that lead to some peaceful grown up time afterwords.
Modeling their matching book bags and dolls from William.
It was a great controlled craziness!
An attempt at a Littles' picture was only somewhat successful if Aunt D could hold the littlest ones in place.
Happy Birthday Baby Jesus!  Your the reason for this special day!
Dessert was pretty yummy!

After so many treats the past few days.....a detox smoothie for dinner the next day was welcomed by all!
