A Sunny Easter

What a gorgeous day Easter turned out to be.  We attended a church plant that morning for their outdoor service and it was glorious.  The littles had their own little story time.
They had a backdrop for a photo both set up!

Taking the Sabbath rest seriously, Ezra and I had a little nap.  We played with some filters for fun first, though.

Some he like more than others!
But it didn't take long before he was out!
We headed to my parents that afternoon for an egg hunt and celebration together.  Aaron is always so gracious in taking pictures for all of us, and they turned out awesome!
True Shiloh form...
All the girls...
Zoe wanted a solo shot...
And Lauren thought that was a good idea too...
Grammy had some decorations and sweet bags for the littles.
There were a lot of Poppy instructions about how the egg hunt was going to go down.

Then the troops were released...one by one.
As an aside, Shiloh, insisted on wearing her tennis shoes for the hunt but started very slowly.
But soon came to her senses!
Zoe, being last due to her age, was not going to let that stop her and booked it out there to join her family.
Even with all the efforts, not all the eggs were found that day, but there were quite a few to go around!
The opening of the eggs to discover how much change was found.
They each got a special egg with some of that paper money.
They were obviously excited about those the most!
I, then, helped guide the littles with our resurrection roll tradition.
They did well being patient in waiting their turn!
Then we feasted, but I think I was to excited about that piece to remember to document.  Such another amazing Easter to celebrate the one who gives us OUR HOPE!
