Ezra's 11-Year-Old Yes Day!

The kiddos celebrate their birthday in different ways, and this year Ezra choose to do a "Yes Day!"  This looks unique, per each child's different interest, so I presented him with some options and he had some ideas himself.  A day full of yes's (within reason) and lots of quality time together.

We started out with his requested breakfast, french toast, which of course goes great with a latte (still picnic style as we do not have access to kitchen).
He then opened his gifts from his parents and sisters.
This had many surprises.
A thoughtful gift from his buddy!
Next I took him to the park with his best bud neighbor friend, where they were having an animal exhibit.
We got some up close views!
Another area of the park had Touch-A-Truck, which we explored some before heading to the playground for awhile.
A glimpse into the future!
Then we headed home, picked up the rest of the crew, grabbed Publix subs (his favorite) and had a picnic.
Ezra recalled seeing advertising about Cromer's, so we headed their next.  We haven't been to this location and it was a fun stop.
Old School scale they have there...
Ezra found his green popcorn that he had been after (and score - it was on sale), along with a few other goodies as well.
That day there was a Block convention (aka Legos) that we explored for some time. It was amazing all the creations that people came up with.
Ezra especially liked the durby racing and spent an hour or so perfecting his car to race and trying the track many times.
My angles patiently waited for him.
Shiloh got him a gift of his choosing, lego in handmade soap.
We hit up a store we found along the way and snagged some great deals on Hey Dudes and shirts.
Then it was on to picnic number two, Chick-fil-A, at the park.
With a little playtime included.
Finally back at home for his chosen dessert and watching movie of choice, Moana 2.

The next day we had lunch at the Lovelands where they had a yummy cake for him.
Snuggles!
And his favorite, leggos.
Happy 11th Birthday to our special boy.  You sure are loved and I am so glad we got to spend so much quality time together!!
