October days

While most of the normal fall activities still had not returned, we enjoyed some time outside when we could.

Shiloh is a lover of all living creatures, including tiny frogs that she finds.

Although, I don't know if any of us our huge fans of this spider doing its' work on the edge of the garage.
The littles like to set up different areas around the yard for a variety of things.  I believe car washes (with snack breaks) were part of the theme for this day.

Zoe learned how to make Dole Whip, which we all greatly enjoyed.
Shiloh discovered one day that if she added some dragon fruit to her oatmeal she now how a bright pink breakfast.
When little man fell asleep, I attempted to take him outside to wake him up (it didn't work).  I did enjoy rocking my big boy.
Somewhere in that pile hides a little child

Ezra was thrilled to loose his first tooth (with Daddy's help)!

When we found out that there was a cross country meet in the green space behind our house, the girls got out the lemonade stand to work their magic.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It was beyond crazy town getting everything ready with opening our coffee storefront.  Beach and I were thankful to squeeze in a date night after a photo shot one evening, much needed.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I, also, got in a lunch date with this little love bug, during one of her solo virtual days.
She adores Firehouse Subs, so I surprised her with such, and we headed to the park.
It was sweet having some one one one time with this amazing young lady.

Another canceled event, the SC state fair, decided to still hold a drive through.  While not ideal, we decided to check it out!
The fair part itself did not have a long wait time, and it was enjoyable at least getting a glimpse of things.
Someone did not want her picture taken, though.
I caught her looking!
Zoe liked the cows until she smelled them!  That face!
I had accidentally gotten into the food line, at first....so the kids learned that was even a thing.  They pleaded for cotton candy, and knowing there was so little other things to do these days, I obliged.  However, what I didn't realize, though, was that the line would take sooooo very long!  We waited for over an hour, something super hard for me, as I hate traffic and what feels like wasting time.  The cars in line were a bit crazy themselves and it was not an experience I would recommend or repeat.
However, the kids were thrilled and we pulled over to a near by park so they could enjoy their treasures.
Zoe shared how cotton candy was her favorite dessert and all the good memories that were attached to such. What a sweetheart, I am thankful for that smile!

Ezra started Soccer Shots this month and couldn't be more excited!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Beach's cousin got married on a beautiful day outside.
Sweet ceremony that we were thankful to attend.  I was so busy chatting it up afterwards that I didn't even take any pictures at the reception.
But did snap this one when back at home.  My two handsome boys were sitting together and I couldn't help it!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Zoe is at the age where she loves playing with my phone and features....showed daddy this fun one.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sweet pickle loving, Lydia turns 7!
She is greatly loved!
My kids love to give treasures as well.
So thankful to be all together celebrating!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ezra set up a little stand in front of his door (not sure about that face).
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We enjoy watching a movie together on the weekends.
Which always means lots of snuggles.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Beach is often gone with getting the building ready, so we enjoyed this morning with a big breakfast and having him home!
Now to the part of the month the kids greatly anticipate....
