The Lights - Finally!

In that most of December there was sickness in our house, we did not even get to drive around to look at any lights.  We had a pass to Saluda Sholes, which we have always enjoyed going to in the past.  I wasn't sure if that was even going to happen.  However, a few days after Christmas everyone was up for making an attempt.
Most of the time is riding in the car, which isn't so bad.  With it being after the holidays, there was no line to get in, a bonus!
The kids favorite thing to do, though, is the tube slide.  There was a line for that, but the girls found it well worth it.
I even gave it a go...
We, also, took a short train ride.
Some were more opt for pictures than others.
"Take a picture of me next to the trash can." Ok...
They are not huge fans of pictures but most of the time play along.
Not quite the same after Christmas, but still beautiful.
I'm not sure why this light set up existed, but we staged a silly picture with it.
We took a walk around the pond and Shiloh found a "corndog out in the wild!"
She, also, enjoyed waving at folks driving by...
Chilly but lovely night!

Zoe wanted to hop in our selfie, too!
And then it was back for a few more slides.  The boys were done with the cold, though, and waited for us in the car to warm up.
I love seeing their smiles!
Thankful for another break in the sickness for us to enjoy some family time together!
