May is always a busy month with celebrations and finishing up the school year. Since we were gone on our out West trip for Beach's birthday, we had a belated celebration with his parents later.
Steak is always a hit!
I found him later that night sleeping next to his gluten free cookies and candy they gave him.

Zoe got to see her sweet friend do an amazing job at her school play.

Ezra finished off his Run Hard season with the big 5K race.
He was not feeling the pictures, as he was less than thrilled with his results. He ran 25:18, which I am very proud of, but it did not make his own goal.
Thankfully Beach was his running buddy (although Ezra can out run us all).

While on a walk with my boy he saw that a neighbor had free bamboo, and scooped up a piece.
It was quite long!

We were excited to be involved with a fundraiser for Walk for Water this year.
Loveland Coffee was able to be a sponsor for their first walk in Columbia.
And our whole family was able to do the walk. The idea is that you walk 3 miles with a bucket of water to simulate what many people in the world have to do each day for clean drinking water.
A full circle moment for Zoe, as she raised almost $1000 for for them for her six year old birthday.
Ezra learning that it can be hard to carry a bucket and not get wet.

Our last field day and I was able to volunteer.
Ezra seemed to have a great time.
I was working at the Tug-A-War station, which is always fun to see.
And got to see Lydia as well!

My sweet sister, Lauren, takes the kids out for their birthday dates and it was Zoe's turn.
Zoe loves all things food....so they did a mini food tour.
Such a sweet time together and the last before they leave town.
Thankful for another full month....now we are ready for a summer break!
