Mother's Day and "Pick-A-Date"

For Mother's Day this year it was low key, just as I like it!  After church, Beach had a yummy set up for lunch for us.

We are still living in the basement, so as much as we can we take advantage of being outside to eat.  Beach made me a yummy steak salad!

And the kids had the sweetest cards and gifts.

I'm not a huge gifts person, but the kids still wanted to do something, and Zoe was so creative in making this rose for me!

From Ezra...Mom the Love bomb...

With a coupon for a massage!  He has strong hands that my shoulders appreciate!

We had some snuggle time that afternoon and Ezra actually fell asleep on my shoulder.  This doesn't happen normally and it was a sweet reminder of when he was young!

We were able to get together with my whole family later that night for dinner.  

For my own mom, we had a "Pick-A-Date" on a Saturday later in the month which was so fun!  Danielle actually made a video to remember the whole experience, but Lauren snagged a couple of photos as well (unfortunately she is not in any of them).  

It as such a fun day doing all the things we think our mother would love!  She deserve it!
