Gatlinburg (TN Trip - Day 5)

So even though we had to be out of our cabin relatively early, it did not mean that our fun had to quite end right there. Shiloh LOVES to go window shopping and Gatlinburg has so many interesting things to see in doing just that.  I knew she would truly get a kick out of it all!
We were happy that Lauren could join us, and she was a good sport in taking fun pictures.
Beach and I did a moonshine tasting, as we were to tired for date night the previous evening, which was a fun and different experience.
The others enjoyed some truly country entertainment right outside while they waited.
Little treasures to be found!
And a surprise, well raved about, donut shop.
Sister laughs!
We just got a few and shared them all...
The kids even got to see a working telephone booth.
Treats for the adults.
One of the small souvenirs I like to collect throughout the years are smashed pennies.
The kids keeping the tradition alive.

After a lot of traffic we split the drive up some more, and stoped at the Asheville Arboretum, as it is close to the interstate.
We got there in just enough time to see the bonsai tree exhibit before it closed.  Beach is a large fan of such!
It was beautiful and felt magical.
We had the place mostly all to ourselves.
Butterfly found and documented...
While there wasn't any complaining about being tired, when we briefly went inside and passed a bench....this quickly happened.
A very cool, unexpected treat....when we were driving out of the park, we saw some baby bears crossing the road and head up the mountain!
Then it was off again homeward bound.
(Out take of when she realizes I am taking a picture.)
Such an awesome trip with packed in fun! Thank you Lord for this break and time with family!
