Easter Celebrations

Thankful we all made it to church on Easter Sunday!
Since we still hadn't decorated eggs this year, we did so that afternoon.
We were limited with our supplies but used what we had!

All the intense egg love.
I enjoyed the painting aspect.
Then we had an early dinner at my parents.  Poor Lauren had sprained her ankle, not so fun when your 8 months prengant.
Sill smiling, though.
Sister love.
Tried something new this year in allowing the kids to hide eggs for each other.  The littlest hunted first.
Sweet little 3rd graders!
Then it was the 5th graders turn (it sure doesn't look like they are only a month apart).  Sadly Zoe started feeling bad shortly before and ended up being sick, she wasn't able to join us the rest of the day.
They liked to give each other clues on where their eggs were hidden.
Adorable cousins, just missing our Zoe!
Resurrection roll tradition.
Mom made a beautiful yummy gluten free cake!
I waited until the end of the day, when most of my make-up had been rubbed off, but still got a picture with my moma!
Thankful for this beautiful day, time with family, and celebrating our risen Lord.
