Michelle's FL wedding (Part 1 - Pre-adventures)

Our whole family was greatly looking forward to heading to Tampa to celebrate my cousin's wedding!  It was a 7.5 hour drive, and the kids like to make some stops to break it up a bit.
We checked out Black Riffle to grab a coffee (or lemonade for the kids) outside of Savanah.
It is always interesting for us to see how others in our industry do things.
Florida "welcome juice" picture (Shiloh was not thrilled her brother caused some to spill on her).
In researching stops, Zoe saw this "art park" that had statues throughout and was very excited about it.  So we made it a go...
There weren't that many but she did enjoy seeing what was there...
There was, also, a playground to get a little movement in...
Our last stop was actually at a batting cage along the way.  Beach and I had bought a Florida "Get Out Pass" the last time we came down.  It was good for a year and had things all across central Florida.  So since it was on the way we stopped to cash one in....
Zoe, also, spent a little time warming up with some swings!
It was a bit crowded, so Ezra only went in the actual batting cage a couple of time before we had to go.
Our final destination was an AirB&B in Brandon, where we found that my aunt had welcome bags for us.
She truly is the hostess with the mostess.
I attempted a selfie (with bad lighting) but kept getting photo bombed 😆.
The house had a pool and despite the cold temps (low 60s), my kids were still determined to get some water play time in!
Despite it taking her breath away, Zoe continued to jump in repeatedly.

Another item on our "Get out Pass" was Croc Encounters.  Our pass was good for two people and Ezra seemed to be the main one interested, so we had a mother and son date that morning while the others chilled at the house.
We both had a great time and saw all types of animals...
Many of the gators are given to them from folks that thought it would be a good idea to have them as a pet (and then came to their senses).
This turtle was very heavy and looked pre-historic.
We really enjoyed feeding the turtles.
All different sizes.
It was fascinating getting to watch them so closely!
This photo looks like he is sticking out his tongue.
Seeing so many alligators in one spot is pretty wild, and we got to feed them as well!
Holding Ezra so he could get the best view while feeding them!
He wasn't up to holding a baby alligator, though, but took my picture doing so.
He was able to be convinced about the snake.
It was a good experience that worked out well for us to visit, being so close by.

Back at the house we all had a great Cuban lunch.

There was a brief amount of downtime left before we needed to get ready for the wedding.  I had researched on a small botanical garden near by, and my mom was the only one up for taking the quick trip.
It was so nice!  (Wearing glasses to try to help my headache.)
I was amazed at the HUGE elephant ear plants but could not quite capture it with the same awe with the camera.
It truly felt like we were in another magical place in the world.
Mom molded next to some of the gorgeous flowers we saw.
Then it was time to get ready for the MAIN event....
