Springing up Loveland

Another Grand Loveland visit, this time with the timing of Ezra's birthday in mind!  He was so glad to see them!  There was a lot of celebrating to be had (can read more about it here).
Grandma always comes with dresses for the girls as well of course!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Since it was almost Easter, we got to enjoy some of the local festivities together, including Riverland Hills' Event.  Shiloh was the only one wanting to stop for a picture!
The others had their eyes on all the jumpy houses and slides!
The girls loved their chance at the rock wall...
I have to admit that it did look like a lot of fun and I would have loved to try it too!
The rest of the gang enjoyed their hot dog dinners.
Ezra was determined to go on the train ride (aka covered tractor), and I waited quite awhile with him for this popular event.
Cheesing for the camera...that smile makes it all worth it!
Then it was on to the main event!  They did an amazing job with organizing everything and all of our kids were in different age groups.
Hum.....I wonder if she will find any eggs...
Sunset picking!
There were so many people there that I wonder how many thousands of eggs that they had (and all the people that helped stuff them).
We found neighbor friends!
More than one way to use a basket/bucket!
These series are, by far, my favorite from the night though!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Saturdays often are accompanied by pancakes, and the birthday boy got the huge one.
Grandma brought out the big Easter basket gift for them.  She has an amazing way of decorating and putting things together!
Cards and all!
However, I think Shiloh's joy over the Easter grass did surprise her!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We had a few fun stops, including a hunt at Target where they were rewarded with Hatchimals!
Then it was off to the dollar store for the kids to pick out some things just for them!
Finally stop was the "shower" for Carolina Wildlife Foundation.
Ezra was enamored with the turtles and I spent some time examining everything with him...
He was brave to pet a snake and possum.
The girls were quick to get outside and start arting.
We did join them and Ezra helped make a nature habitat.
Picture with Grandma.
So really, this is what I have to work from to try to get a "nice" picture.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Snuggles with Grandma who was not thrilled that our weather wasn't warmer for her trip (me too).
Since they were not going to be here for Zoe's birthday...she got to open her gift from them early!
It included a special 8 necklace and bracelet!
From one jewelry lover to the next!
We continued with the resurrection eggs during dinner.
Capping the night off with popcorn and a movie.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Impute lemonade stand.
Daddy showed Ezra how to play with his new t-ball gift.
Those smiles!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Zoe is doing the Run Hard club at school, and during the midway point they had the parents come out to watch and cheer them on!
The other littles wanted to join in on the last lap.
Ezra kept going, though, and did three laps himself....I should have let him start earlier to see if he would have done the whole 1.5 miles.
The whole team did well and earned their Run Hard Shirt.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Then it was off to our Mexican food tradition.
And cheese!
While this may have been a fun app Zoe was using, this was the actually activity before we left.  Girls are so emotional and it took us awhile to actually get to the restaurant.
More snuggles!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Donna wanted to take Ezra out for lunch and play at Chick-fa-la (the girls were in school).  I say she made one little boy pretty happy!
The visit is never complete without a cookie making session.  Hunter filled in for Shiloh who was so tired she couldn't be woken from her nap.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Then it was on to games, which Zoe is really into right now!
But has certain cards she likes and has a hard time letting go of!
I had to get one last picture since we were twinning it!
Loving all over the Land!
