Take me to the BEACH

We made it to beach week, and this years version was the farthest one away from home to date.  Headed Florida bound, just below St. Augustine beach, with all of my side of the family.
The kids and I are all about finding some fun stops along the way, especially coffee shops.  Having at least one of us deal with motion sickness, this gives us fun reasons to stop, instead of just dealing with the sickness.
We tried one that had some yummy pastries as well.
Fun pit stop!
Then, outside of Savannah, we went through the Savannah National Wildlife Refuge.
It was so gorgeous with all the spanish moss and huge trees!
A quick walk break!
A picturesque window for bird watching.
Beautiful backgrounds for selfies with my loves.
Then on to the swamp like area on the lookout for alligators, which we found a couple.
Hopped out briefly for a closer look.  They love it when they have to look into the sun for pictures.
It was a unique experience for sure!
Weeks prior to the trip, Shiloh made special snack packs (and later lunches) for all of us.  It was very thoughtful.
Another stop shortly off the interstate....
They were thrilled to be able to ring the bell.
The little church holds about 12 people.
We made it to Florida and stopped briefly at the visitors center.
Juice samples and all...
Another coffee stop that was recommend near Jacksonville, Bold Bean.
This picture made me smile, so I had to include it.
Then to the beach house where Josiah snuggles were a top priority!
Checking out the beach...
Little guys first time!
We all love him so much!
Taking turns making dinner, and the littles get to enjoy it al fresco
After clean up it was back on the beach to check out the sunset.
Another beach goer let us know that there was a rocket lunch about to happen, so it was a fun surprised to witness it even though we were quite a while away.
Packed in a lot of fun and excitement even in a mostly travel day and we look forward to the rest of the week together.
