June (Part 1)

There were so many sweet memories captured in June, my favorite having to be our week at the beach. Here are the other little moments from the month.
I truly treasured the last few days of just having Ezra to myself before his sisters got out of school. After nap snuggles are always a win.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A surprise visit to see friends, while the mommas work out!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Then some time together exploring the park...
Supper cheesy smile while wearing his t-shirt from when his dad was a boy.
We loved spotting the beautiful flowers and lily pads!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Each year we try to make the summer reading kickoff at the library...
Space is this year's theme.
Events are always better with friends.
 A mobile climbing wall - check!
The girls are especially into getting to the top!
Firetruck fun included as well...
Everyone wants a picture in the truck!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My last solo date together with my little man for this school year!
Working on the primary colors today at the art museum.
Ezra really enjoyed this painting activity (he doesn't always care for the art making piece of the program).
He learned about blending colors as well.
End results!
And a trip to Jason's deli to top it off!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I had to include this....when I hug my sister Lauren, this is almost always her response to my rough hugs.  I happened to snap a picture this time for records sake!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I call my Zoe a little birdie when she perches on items like this.  This time it was on the foot of my bed where I found her reading.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Bug puppet show at the library.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It feels like a never ending task of renovating the basement.  Getting closer, though, and getting those walls painted!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
June is the time where we VBS...
This year all the kids were able to go to Riverland Hills and they greatly enjoyed it!
 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
6-week workout program complete.
Thanks in part to my little Shiloh.  She has insisted that she wants to be in charge of making dinner on Wednesdays.  So she made me a large salad and mac and cheese with fruits and vegges for the kids.  Allowing her  independent self to soar!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The kids and I went on a run/walk on a cooler night after a storm came through and found some fun things along the way.
We found where a huge tree had been knocked down!
The love of an open field to just run!
Filling up the memory tank with the rest of June still to come!
